Acute continuous vertigo with neurologic signs, new severe headache, or central eye-movement patterns requires urgent medical escalation. Bedside screening complements, but does not replace, physician evaluation when central causes are possible. Document timing, triggers, hearing change, and migraine history to support ENT and neurology collaboration.
